4º Festival Gimnorítmico - URBI ET ORBI

Festival de Dança faz esquecer frio na Covilhã.

O C.C.D. Oriental de S. Martinhoorganizou o IV Festival de dança com a participação de colectividades amadoras do concelho da Covilhã

Decorreu no sábado, dia 9 de Janeiro, pelas 21.30 horas no pavilhão desportivo, o IV Festival Gimnorítimico organizado pelo C.C.D. Oriental de S. Martinho Covilhã. O evento, onde se combinam modalidades de ginástica e de dança, contou com a participação dos grupos de Step, Aeróbica, Hip-hop e Dance Fusion de várias colectividades do concelho da Covilhã, como o Oriental de S. Martinho, Grupo Instrução e Recreio do Rodrigo, Grupo Desportivo da Mata, Grupo da Boidobra, In Corpore Sano Ginásio e Grupo do Barco.
Uma centena de pessoas aguardava, numa sala fria, a entrada do primeiro grupo. Assim que começaram os primeiros passos de dança, o entusiasmo do público, a aplaudir efusivamente, fez com que o frio fosse esquecido e a sala aqueceu para assistir a um espectáculo com qualidade e imaginação nas danças, provando que os jovens apreciam esta forma de arte.
António Franco, presidente do C.C.D. Oriental de São Martinho, e Francisco Mota, responsável pela organização deste festival, revelaram que foi fácil organizar o evento, uma vez que todos os grupos responderam prontamente ao convite que lhes foi formulado pela organização.
No evento, que contou com o apoio da Câmara Municipal da Covilhã, da Inatel e da Junta de Freguesia de S. Martinho, estiveram presentes Margarida Pereira, responsável da INATEL do Distrito de Castelo Branco, e Pedro Silva, vereador da Câmara Municipal da Covilhã. No final, a organização do festival ofereceu a todos os participantes e espectadores bolo-rei, sumos e champanhe.

The fourth edition of the Gimnorítmico festival

The sportive and cultural centre Oriental de São Martinho from Covilhã organized this Saturday night, 9th of January, in the sports hall of the community, the fourth edition of the Gimnorítmico festival.

The CCD Oriental de São Martinho, from Covilhã, organized this Saturday night, 9th of January, in the sports hall of the community, the fourth edition of the Gimnorítmico festival. That initiative combined movements taken from gymnastics and dance as well. Took part of this event, CCD Oriental de São Martinho, GIR do Rodrigo, Grupo Desportivo da Mata, In Corpore Sano Ginásio and Grupo do Barco, had to deal with step, aerobics, dance fusion or hip hop. Performed persons with no age limit, from children to grown-ups, the main purpose being to entertain the audience and to share the joy that they feel when they dance.

The vice-president of Oriental de São Martinho, Francisco Mota, declared that “because the organization has good relationships with the other collectives that took part at the event, it is very easy to organize something like this. We got in contact with INATEL, with the groups and we set a date for the event and, in broadly, that was it.”

The Oriental de São Martinho has a lot of ongoing projects. The next major one will be a musical that will be right up on the stage on April, 2010. Even if the money is missing, Francisco Mota believes that “with a lot of determination, everything will be possible”.

The Gimnorítmico festival ended in a warm and mirthfully atmosphere, with champagne, cookies and joy and was supported by the representatives of the city hall, as well as by the INATEL foundation.
